SHAHLAB alumnus Adam Jakus takes 2nd Place in Science in Society Image Contest

Congratulations to Adam, who submitted an image titled “3D-Printed Copper or Air?”, a photograph of a 3D-printed copper salt scaffold. These scaffolds can be immersed in water to dissolve the salt, which will leave behind a highly-porous polymer framework useful for biomedical implants.
